December 13, 2005
The Board of Education voted to suspend the implementation of the District Accountability Framework (DAF). While San Diego City Schools holds itself accountable for the achievement of all students at all schools and expects all schools to consider state and federal accountability requirements when developing site plans, the decision to suspend the District Accountability Framework (DAF) was made primarily because it duplicates the comprehensive state and federal accountability systems already in place.

November 18, 2003
Proposed District Accountability Framework presented to the Board of Education for first reading (an informational presentation where no actions are taken). Following extensive review by district staff, parents and community groups, the District Accountability Framework will be formally presented to the Board for consideration and action in 2004.
