Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

An association I am a member of has asked me to contact my elected representatives and tell them my position on a legislative proposal. How should I do this?
All district employees should only share their positions on legislation as an individual, they should never speak for the district without coordinating their response through the Government Relations Office. The district has a board approved legislative policy and priorities and all district positions must be consistent with this policy and priorities.
