Overview
The Chief Administrative Office and the Office of the Deputy Superintendent collaborated in the creation of a committee to facilitate the procurement of technology investments for the District. The committee is the Technology Sponsorship And Review Committee (TSARC).
The committee supports both instructional and business areas in increasing student performance by aligning with the district goals of Becoming America’s Best.
The TSARC will evaluate requests for technology investments and make recommendations to the district’s Fiscal Executive Committee. School sites and departments will complete a project proposal form when requesting approval for projects that may impact district-wide technology resources. Proposals will be reviewed by the TSARC, composed of a representative from the Area Superintendents, Ed Tech, Finance, Procurement, IT, PPO, Facilities Management and a school site leader to determine the viability, priority, budget, and resource requirements for each project. TSARC has a total of 12 members.

Meeting Schedule and Information
Meetings are held on a bi-monthly basis on Tuesdays from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and are open to anyone interested in attending. Please contact us before you attend to make sure enough seating is provided.

A copy of this request form must be saved and submitted to tsarc@sandi.net for projects that meet ANY of the following criteria:- Project equipment purchases that are new, additional and, replacing existing equipment, OR
- Project will affect the current district infrastructure, OR
- The project requires interdepartmental collaboration and/or agreement for funding, implementation or monitoring, OR
- The project requires an agreement and/or contract to be completed, OR
- The project would be scalable to multiple locations or departments in the district, OR
- Total project cost will be at or in excess of $50,000
