Chief Administrative Officer Business Operations Division The Business Operations Division is responsible for operational functions that support and are critical to providing instruction at the school level. These functions include: Student Transportation The Transportation Department is responsible for the safe and timely transport of over 22,000 students, including those with disabilities each school day. In addition, the department provides transportation for field trips, the 6-to-6 Extended Day Program, and charter school-funded service. The department also coordinates free and reduced-price meal programs and provides catering services for district functions.
