Chief Administrative Officer Business Operations Division The Business Operations Division is responsible for operational functions that support and are critical to providing instruction at the school level. These functions include: Student Transportation The Transportation Department is responsible for the safe and timely transport of over 22,000 students, including those with disabilities each school day. In addition, the department provides transportation for field trips, the 6-to-6 Extended Day Program, and charter school-funded service.
Food Services The Food Services Department manages the district's school breakfast and lunch programs, preparing and serving daily meals to students across the district. The department also coordinates free and reduced-price meal programs and provides catering services for district functions.
Information Technology The Information Technology Department manages the district's technology infrastructure, including computer hardware and software, data communication networks, and related support services.
Risk Management The Risk Management Department manages district issues regarding workers' compensation, unemployment insurance, safety, environmental health, property and liability risk control. The department supports the district's mission by protecting the service capabilities of the district from the consequences of financial loss. Procurement & Distribution The Procurement & Distribution Department oversees the purchase, distribution and inventory control of equipment, supplies and instructional materials.
