The Digital Classroom Our children live in a multimedia world. Cherokee Point has begun to incorporate this digital world by providing each classroom with current technology. Every classroom is equipped with a digital presentation station, set up with a computer, document camera, wireless slate pad, voice amplification, network and printer. The station is connected to a ceiling mounted projector allowing teachers to optimize visual learning by replacing blackboards with a projection screen.
Our teachers are using presentation stations on a daily basis to bring school curriculum to life and to enrich teaching and learning across the curriculum. Students also have access to wireless networked laptop computers.
 
Grade levels 2 through 5 have a laptop cart with 20 wireless laptops available to them. These carts are coordinated and integrated by each grade level team into an inquiry based curriculum.
