The Course of Study, K–12 is approved annually by the Board of Education to meet the California Education Code requirement that “the governing board of every school district shall prepare and shall keep on file for public inspection the courses of study prescribed for the schools under its jurisdiction” (Section 51040). The Board of Education has already approved the curricula and instructional programs contained in this Course of Study, K–12 via recommendations submitted by the Interdivisional Curriculum Committee (ICC). |
