The Auction is a themed party and dinner-dance with
a silent and live auction. It is always held in the spring. This school year it will be held on May 3,2008. The auction provides
an opportunity to bid on priceless artwork produced
by students at Bird Rock Elementary School as well
as other exciting items that are generously donated.
This is the major fundraising event of the year.

Community Partners. Up to 4% of your purchases using
your Albertsons/SavOn preferred card are contributed
to the Parents' Committee. Link our school info

Last year, e*Scrip and Albertson’s Community
Partners raised $7,100 for our school.
Every September, the PTA sponsors a scholastic Book
Fair held in the auditorium. A wide selection of
affordable, quality books and teaching aids are
available. Parents can volunteer to work at this
event. There is also the opportunity to help fill
your child's classroom with books by buying books
from teacher's "Wish Lists".
With no annual fee, the Parents’ Committee
receives up to 8% of your purchases from participating
merchants including Vons, Macy's, Payless Shoes,
Eddie Bauer and Big 5. Register

friends and family (even if they live in another

The PTA receives 50% of all sales from the gift-wrap
drive. These profits fund the Fifth Grade Committee,
Cultural Arts, Bird’s Eye View, Handbook/Directory,
the Missoula Players, Character Education, After
School Enrichment and many more PTA programs.
This weekly fundraiser occurs at 12:50 PM in the
lunch arbor after school lets out on Wednesdays.
The menu includes Little Caesar’s cheese and pepperoni pizza
- $1.00/slice; whole pizzas - $10.00; Caesar salads
- $2.00; bottled water and Gatorade- $1.00; bread sticks - $.25. This fundraiser
is a wonderful opportunity to become better connected
to the school by meeting other parents.

Get into the school spirit! The PTA T-shirt fund-raiser
is held in the fall. Come check out the 2007-2008 t-shirt design in the diplay case outside of the office! T-shirt orders are due on Thursday October 18th. We encourage students and parents
to wear their Bird Rock Elementary shirts to school every Friday.

This annual fall fundraiser provides the students
of Bird Rock the opportunity to directly contribute
to the betterment of their school. Children (along
with their parents) procure sponsors, then walk
laps on the upper field from 9:30 – 11 AM.
After the tallies are in, prizes are given to those
who walk the most laps and those who raise the most
money. This is a fun volunteer opportunity—look
in your Tuesday envelope. Plan to attend this festive
day of school spirit and cheer our children on as
they Walk ‘n' Rock the day away!
