Trend OSC7 installation:

 

1. Once you click on the Manual install link you are also presented with the system requirements for Officescan.

2. After you click on the link to begin the download. The prompt will ask you if you want to "Run" or "Save" the file. Click on "Save" and navigate to where you wish to save the file.
3. Launch the installer and follow the prompts.

    4.   Restart the computer.

 

If  McAfee is still running on the computer Trend will handle the removal. There is the possibility McAfee was not completely removed and Trend installation will fail if it finds remnants of McAfee in the registry. Clean the registry of McAfee and run the install again.

If Symantec LiveUpdate is on the computer it needs to be removed or OfficScan installation may fail.
