If you have any other Anti-Virus software please remove it before proceeding

Please click on link below to begin. At the prompt select "Run" or "Open". The black screen that will appear will prepare your computer for installation. You will then be returned to the web browser to begin the installation. Respond in the affirmative to all prompts. Click on the install button to begin the installation of OfficeScan 8.0. You will need to install the Active-X controls associated with Trend Micro. When installation is complete please reboot your computer.

Install

System requirements for Windows XP/Server 2003

To install on Windows XP (Home or Professional Edition with Service Pack 1) and Widows Server 2003 computer, they must have the following:

  • 300MHz Intel Pentium processor or equivalent
  • 256MB of RAM (20MB free)
  • 200MB of available disk space
  • Monitor that supports 640x480 resolution at 256 colors or higher
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later if need to perform Web set-up
  • Gigabit Network Interface Card )NIC)- Supported
Note: You must disable Simple File Sharing on Windows XP clients before they can successfully install OfficeScan client programs (see your Windows documentation for instructions)

System requirements for Windows 2000 Client

To install on Windows 2000 (with Service Pack 2 or later) computers, they must have the following:

  • 150MHz Intel Pentium processor or equivalent
  • Microsoft  Windows 2000 Server/Advanced Server/ Professional with SP2 or above.
  • 256MB of RAM
  • 200MB of free disk space
  • Monitor that supports 640x480 resolution at 256 colors or higher
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or later
  • Gigabit Network Interface Card (NIC)- Supported

 

System requirements for Windows Vista Client

To install on Windows Vista (Business, Enterprise, or Ultimate {32 or 64-bit}), they must have the following:

  • 800MHz Intel Pentium processor or equivalent; AMD x64 or Extended Memory 64 Technology (EM64T) processor architectures also supported
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 200MB of available disk space
  • Monitor that supports 800 x 600 resolution at 256 colors
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 or later
