Visitors
Visitors are welcome at Kimbrough Elementary School. If you have any
concerns, please come and speak to the teachers and administrators.
However, since our first responsibility is to provide for the safety of
the children and the best possible learning environment, we ask all
visitors to follow certain guidelines:
All visitors MUST sign in at the front office and obtain a Visitor Pass that must be worn while on campus.
All visitors must sign out when their visit is complete.
Visitors must pre-arrange a visit or observation to the classroom by
calling ahead of time and making arrangements with the teacher.
Parents cannot eat lunch with their children in the lunch arbor.
Visitors/parents picking up children before school is dismissed, must do
so in the office. The office personnel will call the room and ask for
the child to be sent down to the office.
Visitors/parents bringing lunches, jackets, homework and any other
personal items for students must drop the item off in the office. The
office personnel will call the classroom and have the child come to the
office to pick up the item.
All school volunteers on site must sign in at the front office counter
upon arrival at Kimbrough, and must sign out upon their departure. All
volunteers must wear their Volunteer Badges while on campus.
Classroom Visits
Parents are welcome to visit their child’s classroom. Please make arrangements with the teacher at least one day prior to your visit. This enables the teacher to assist you in seeing the subjects of interest to you.
