Here are just a few ideas of fun and easy activities 4th Graders can do at home with family and friends:
 
 1.  read in the dark with a flashlight
 2.  read under the kitchen table
 3.  set a timer and read
 4.  make flashcards and have someone quiz you                  
 5.  set up a tent (or make a tent) to read in
 6.  learn how to play Sudoku  
 7.  solve a crossword or crossnumber puzzle
 8.  play Connect Four Corners on grid paper with a parent
 9.  play Hot Seat
10.  play 20 Questions
