Birthday Celebrations

Birthdays are a very important day in a child’s life. Unfortunately, we do not have time for a big celebration or party for each child as it takes time away from instruction. If you would like to celebrate your child’s birthday at school, please:

1. Let your child’s teacher know at least two days in advance.
2. Keep it simple – Treats should be easily distributed.
3. Plan for the celebration to take place the last 15 minutes of the day.
4. Check with the teacher and the administration to determine if the classroom is a nut-free classroom.

Teachers will be happy to help your child pass out birthday party invitations if there is an invitation for everyone in the class or everyone of your child’s gender. If all children in a class are not invited, please mail the invitations.
