Site Energy Usage
View Your Energy Usage Online Using kWickview
What is kWickview?
KWickview is an online San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) website that allows their customers to view energy usage and compare with previous periods. Click here for a one-page fact sheet that explains the program in more detail.
Please note that kWickview was developed for, and is maintained by SDG&E. There are limitations for larger customers with multiple facilities and accounts, such as San Diego Unified School District. SDG&E service addresses are not necessarily the same as the school address and may be on one of the streets bordering the school. A link to a list of school accounts is provided in the section "How do I get to kWickview?" section below.
If you have a solar electric system at your site, the associated SDG&E net meter will under-report the usage. Also, graphs and data will not show when a net meter starts running backwards. The graphs will not show negative numbers.
Are all of the meters and accounts there?
No. The main electric Time-of-use recording accounts are shown, but smaller meters are not shown, and it does not cover natural gas. Power provided by other vendors, such as power purchase agreements for solar energy, are not covered. SDUSD is currently developing a comprehensive tool to combine data and report all meters at the sites, along with costs.
How can I learn more about kWickview?
Visit www.sdge.com/kwickview and view an interactive flash-based demo of kWickview or to sign up for a training class run by SDG&E. See the User Guide for additional helpful information.
How do I get to kWickview?
To see all District accounts currently in kWickview and to determine if setting up a separate account just for your site would be beneficial, go to the kWickview login page and enter:
User ID: SDUSD
Password: SDUSD
But please! Do not change the password or login. It is recommended to set up your own user account, as it is much easier to manage and review your data.
Step 1: Copy the account numbers and meter numbers for your site from this list.Step 3: Once you are registered, go to the kWickview login page and enter your User ID and Password.
