Kindergarten Readiness
For the 2012-2013 school year, incoming kindergarteners should be age 5 by November 1, 2012. However, all San Diego Unified schools will offer a "transitional kinder class" for students whose birthdays fall between November 1, 2012 and December 2, 2012. Therefore, all students who are age 5 before December 2nd may also enroll. Information for prospective Kindergarten parents can be found in the Kindergarten FAQs Document
