For the 2012-2013 school year, incoming kindergarteners should be age 5 by November 1, 2012. However, all San Diego Unified schools will offer a "transitional kinder class" for students whose birthdays fall between November 1, 2012 and December 2, 2012. Therefore, all students who are age 5 before December 2nd may also enroll. To find your resident school, go to www.sandi.net/schoolfinder and enter your street address. It will tell you what your resident schools are for elementary through high school. Student FormsBelow are the "Child Health & Disability Prevention" and the "Oral Health Assessment Waiver" forms that you will need to submit to our office prior to your student's kindergarten year. These required forms must be completed no earlier than March 14th prior to starting kindergarten and due no later than May 31st of your student's kindergarten year.
