We are an alternative middle college high school located on the campus of San Diego Mesa College.

San Diego Metropolitan Regional Career and Technical High School, also known as San Diego Met High School, is a public, college-preparatory school located on the San Diego Mesa Community College campus.  It serves approximately 200 students in grades 9-12. 

San Diego Met High School, which is part of San Diego Unified School District, was launched in September 2004.  Each year a new ninth-grade class is added.  The first graduation was held in June 2008.

The Met follows the Big Picture Learning educational program. The Big Picture Company is an educational not-for-profit organization whose mission is to “catalyze vital changes in American education by generating and sustaining innovative, personalized small schools that work in tandem with the real world and local universities and colleges."
