·        Attention Female Athletes!!  Sacramento State is looking for female athletes for their rowing team (Div. I). Anyone interested in getting more info see me for contact info.  There is financial assistance available for qualified applicants; and no prior experience is necessary – Coach Yandall

·        UC’s Newspaper is looking for your opinion.  If you have an opinion about something happening at UC, write a letter to be published in the next issue.  For more information, come to RM. 226 at lunch, or just submit one with your name there.

·        Juniors:  If you are taking the May or June SAT then listen up!  There will be FREE SAT Prep afterschool on April 16, 18, and 19, 2012 in Rm. 204.  Come to the Counseling Center to sign up. 

·        ArtsTECH Academy:  Where It’s Okay to Act Out and Color Outside the Lines, is currently recruiting 9^th and 10^th grade students for the 2012-13 school year.  If you’re interested in the visual arts, multimedia arts, or theatre arts, the ArtsTECH Academy is for you!  Pick up your application in the Counseling Center or in Room 218.

·        YEARBOOK ANNOUNCEMENT TO ALL STUDENTS:  Next Monday, January 23^rd is the last day to order your yearbook if you plan on getting it personalized.  Also, on Tuesday January 24^th  the price of the year book will be going up to $95.00.  Students can also purchase your yearbooks online at jostensyearbook.com or at the financial office.

·        There will be a Track Meeting at Lunch next Tuesday January 24^th in the Gym.

·        Tonight UCHS basketball teams play Our Lady of Peace HS and St. Augustine HS.  The girls play at 6 pm and the boys play at 7:30 pm. Pre-game tickets are on sale today in the Finance office. The price for students with an ASB card is $2.00 and without an ASB card is $5.00.  All tickets at the game will be $5.00 except for kids under 12 and Senior citizens. Show your school spirit, go to the games and cheer for our Basketball teams!!
