    Academic League is starting! Novice meets Wednesdays at lunch in Rm. 225; JV meets Wednesdays at lunch in Rm. B9; Varsity meets Thursdays at lunch in Rm. 451. See you there! (A. Pores)

    UCHS Student Parking Permits-Cents! If you park on campus, please take the time to turn in your UCHS Student Parking Permit Form. The forms are available in the Counseling Office and can also be found online under the “Student Life” tab. Please turn in your forms to the box located near Mr. Paredes office. You’ll need to provide a copy of your Valid Driver’s License, Vehicle Registration, and Proof of Insurance. There is no cost for the permits-however, there is a $5 fee for lost permits. Please don’t delay-parking permit enforcement will begin soon. If you have questions, please email Mr. P at mparedes@sandi.net. (M. Paredes)

    This week is Bullying Prevention Week. Today, Oct. 20,  is Verbal and Cyberbullying Awareness Day. Show your support by keeping it classy and dressing formally. Tuesday and Thursday, there will be activities at lunch in the quad. Wednesday is National Unity Day-wear Orange! Please show your support to help prevent bullying in schools. (Fallon)

    The Mock Trial Club will have it’s first official meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 22 in Rm. 213 during lunch. If you have any interest in law or the court system, come check us out. We will be discussing the case and our meeting and practice schedules. (M. Fournier)

    All boys interested in trying out for Varsity & JV Soccer, be sure to attend a soccer meeting in the Gym on Tuesday Oct. 21. Please be there at 11:45. Meet the coaches and get all the important information so that you are ready for Try-Outs on November 17th. (M. McLaughlin)

    Students who have detentions to serve will NOT be going to the dance! You can serve your detention during lunch every day in Rm. 440 with Ms. Hooker. You can also attend after school, Tuesdays  and Thursdays, 2:25-3:25 in Rm. 440. There will be late bus passes available. Regardless of their success in battle, we would like to recognize these brave people for the month of October, which is Cancer Awareness Month. Please submit their name, type of cancer, and a little bit about them. Include an optional photo if possible to Mr. Paredes, Ms. Barnier, or other UC Pals. (M. Barnier)

    Seniors: We are ready to issue Senior lockers! Come pick up a locker form at lunch today in the quad. You need to find a friend to share your locker with and both of you must sign the form and show ID to be issued a locker. Tables will be set up in front of Attendance on Friday, Monday and Tuesday.
