What is a WebQuest?

A WebQuest is an inquiry-oriented activity inwhich most or all of the information used by the students is drawn from theweb.  It is designed to allow students to use their time moreeffectively.  As a result, students can focus more on analyzing,synthesizing, and evaluating the information gathered, rather than having tosearch for it on the web.
