Known as Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA), this syndrome can happen without symptoms or warning signs. San Diego alone loses three to five teens annually.

Connect2Work Aim: To prepare low-income youth (juniors and seniors) for post-secondary education and employment. The program is free for all students. Students take part in incentivized work readiness training that is held each Thursday on campus. In addition to this class, we are able to provide up to $400 of incentives for attending after school tutoring, CAHSEE prep, college field trips and community service.
The Hour of Code is a one-hour coding activity during which students choose from self-guided tutorials that work on browsers, smartphones, tablets, or even work without computers at all. Hoover students will be tutoring students at Wilson, Clark and Rosa Parks this year during Hour of Code week 12/8/2014.
