UCHS is pleased to announce the new varsity golf coach for the 2013 Golf season, John Lapp.  Coach Lapp is currently a teacher of 18 years in the San Diego Unified School District.  His golf experiences include being a PGA Assistant Golf Professional (91-95) at Morgan Run Country Club in Rancho Santa Fe, CA.  Prior to that, he caddied on the LPGA Professional Golf Tour for golfer Lynn Connelly during the 87-88 season.  Coach Lapp also played on his own high school varsity golf team for 3 years from 79-82.  A resident of University City, Coach Lapp has supported his two sons in UC youth sports for the past 10 years, including serving 2 years on the UC Little League Board of Directors.   Welcome, Coach Lapp!
