Biography

A teacher at UC High since 1990, Mr. Jason earned his BA in English at the State University of New York Stony Brook and his MA in Creative Writing at San Diego State University. He served in the US Navy as a broadcast jounalist and combat photographer from 1984-1989. When not grading papers, he splits his time parenting his two sons, Nate and Ian, and his two Jack Russell Terriers, Duke (above), and Daisy. He is still trying to decide what he wants to be when he grows up.
