Dear Parents, Teachers and Students,

Welcome to University City High School. Your UCHS PTSA invites you to join us in making a difference in the education and quality of life for all children. PTSA helps parents, students, school staff, and the community work together to share ideas about programs and activities that benefit children. Our PTSA provides information and resources that strengthen the connections between students, parents, schools, and the community.

The PTSA provides assistance and financial support for programs and events at UCHS, such as the SAT review classes, Senior scholarships, assemblies, Teacher Appreciation and professional development funding.  In the 2008/09 school year we also provided funding to support the revamped UCHS website, student newspaper and literary magazine.

The annual membership drive is the major fundraiser for the UCHS PTSA and makes all of these activities, and more, possible. Membership is only $12 per year.  Please consider becoming a Gold Star member for $25 per year. The additional $13, as well as all donations, will go directly to the UCHS PTSA to benefit all students at our school.

The PTSA also produces a Student Planner which contains information about academics, sports and extra curricular activities. Planners will be available for $5 during pre-registration. Quantities are limited – don’t miss out!
