Complex Wide Resources


Bike Rack – Bike racks are available on campus between the 100 and 300 Buildings and, also, next to Bungalow B-3.  Bicycles must be locked to the bike rack. If students do not have a lock, they should not bring their bike to school.  Bringing a bike to school is at the student’s own risk.


Bus Information - School Bus Transportation – Students who ride the school bus to and from school must board and exit the bus in the “loading zone” on the road known as “Caver Way” which is between the 500/600 Buildings and the stadium. Bus loading/unloading locations for field trips, athletic events, or other activities will be announced.


Complex Office – The San Diego Educational Complex office is located in Room 100.  The Office will be open during school hours.


Library Hours:  7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (Monday-Friday)

The library serves as a resource center for students and staff.  It is also the textbook distribution center for the school.  For students it serves not only as a place to find information, but also to study.  For staff it contains a wealth of information and resources.  Students and staff are welcome in the library/media center at any time it is open. 


Library Books—Library books may be borrowed by students for a three-week period.  Students need an ID to check out library materials. 



Lockers – A limited number of lockers are available for students.  Students must have an ASB card, and lockers will be assigned on a “first come, first serve” basis.  Lockers may only be accessed before or after school.


Lunch Program–Due to the fact that the majority of students at the San Diego High School Complex qualify for free or reduced-priced meals, ALL students receive free lunch and nutrition. Food carts grace the school lunch areas with a wide variety of menu items.


Parking Regulations – There is NO student parking on campus. Parking is available at the Balboa Park Naval Hospital lot or legal street parking. Tickets and towing are at owner’s expense.


Visitors may park in one of the designated visitor parking spaces located in the Complex parking lot on Park Boulevard by obtaining a temporary parking permit issued in the Main Complex Office. Failure to display a parking permit can result in a parking citation or towing at owner’s expense.


Public Transportation (Bus & Trolley) – Public bus stops are located on Park Boulevard. A trolley stop is about two blocks south of our school at 12th and “C” Street. Call (619) 233-3004 for bus/trolley information.


Restrooms – Restrooms located by 1100 Building,, next to the library, and on the bottom floor of the 900 Building are available for use by students.  Students should use the restrooms before or after school, during lunch and during passing periods. Students are not to use faculty restrooms.
