Uniform Policy for 2008
It is our expectation that ALL students will be in uniform each day during the 2008-09 school year. The uniform colors will be navy blue bottoms or jumper and a white collared shirt. We will also offer the option of wearing an Encanto Eagle polo shirt that will be available for purchase in royal blue, yellow or white. The standard navy and white uniforms can be purchased from several different stores throughout San Diego; Encanto polo shirts and sweatshirts can be purchased in our front office.
Boys:
Navy pants or shorts (must fit at waist, no sagging or exposed underwear)
White collared shirt or Encanto Eagle white, royal blue or yellow polo shirt
Blue loop belt (no interchangeable belt buckles)
Navy sweater or sweatshirt (without logo or writing) or Encanto Eagle sweatshirt
PE shoes
Girls:
Navy pants, shorts, skirt or jumper
White collared shirt or Encanto Eagle white, royal blue or yellow polo shirt

We strongly believe that having all students in uniform will increase the safety and security on campus, improve the climate for learning and increase school unity and pride. We believe that uniforms will be more economical for families, simplify dressing and maintain modesty of dress. Specific information regarding dress is detailed below and uniform photos will be displayed in the glass case at the front office in case you have questions.
