I graduated from San Diego State University with a major in English and a minor in Spanish.  I completed my Early Childhood credential, and then worked 7 years in the Children Center Program at Euclid Children Center teaching 2-4 year olds. Then, afters staying home several years to raise 2 children, I attained my teaching credential at Alliant University.  I have been teaching 7th grade English at Marston Middle School since 1990.

Reading is stressed everyday in my classroom, and students are expected to read  30 minutes nightly. Homework is posted in my classroom, and students are given time to write
