I’ve long been a champion of taxpayer rights and I am proud to say I have been actively involved in my children’s education.

As trustee for the San Diego Unified School District Sub-District C, I pledge to follow those two most important roles in my life: being a father and a taxpayer advocate.

Foremost, I take a parent’s approach to demanding first-class schools that prepare our children for college and 21st century jobs.

And as a fiscal conservative, I plan to safeguard school funds and construction dollars. I will work with my fellow board members to assure quality education to our children. Please feel free to contact me at sbarnett@sandi.net with any questions or concerns about our schools.
