Biography

I have been a teacher at Mira Mesa High since 1999 where I have taught both regular and honors American Literature and American History. Previously, I taught 7th grade English and World History at Wilson Middle School. I am a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a Bachelors degree in history and a minor in  comparative literature. My Masters degree is in education from San Diego State University.  As a resident of Mira Mesa, all three of my children are graduates of Mira Mesa High.  Two played with the Sapphire Sound and the third ran cross country and track and field.  All three have gone on to college.
