Biography
I love to read! Growing up, my parents would have to tell me to put books away or I would read all day long. My family was very athletic, so I enjoy all sports, but especially swimming. (I am the club advisor for our school Swim Club.) I grew up in Iowa and moved to California in 1986. I have three children, two daughters and a son. They are adults now, but attended schools in Mira Mesa and Scripps Ranch.
I graduated from college with a degree in accounting. I didn't become a teacher until I moved to California, but teaching had been in my heart and dreams ever since I was a small child and played school with my dolls.
